I used to think it was really difficult to pack a healthy packed lunch for my children because it is so easy to reach for the biscuits and crisps but this lunch box I made for my son is super simple and healthy. We are a family or meat eaters but he doesn’t really like things such as ham or other sliced meats that you may normally have for lunch.
He was completely diary free for a while but as he gets older he can tolerate it a little more but we still restrict the amount of milk he has in his diet. So it was great when I was kindly sent some Get Fruity Bars.
They are dairy free so they are perfect for my son, plus he doesn’t realise he is eating something nutritious… sneaky!
Here is what I included in his lunch box:
- Half a bagel with soft cheese, strawberries and grapes.
- Small slice of watermelon.
- Cucumber sticks.
- A boiled egg.
- Tangy pineapple, coconut and lime Get Fruity snack bar.
