Porridge oats are amazing! They are ridiculously cheap (I brought a 500g bag for 20p), they are nutritious and give you loads of energy. The same goes for banana. Now, I’m a big biscuit lover and my daughter seems to of inherited this from me! I believe every thing should be eaten in moderation so the occasional jammie dodger is fine but the recipe for these biscuits is so healthy. I’m happy for her to eat these all in one go, which she does! You can add extras such as nuts, currents, honey, nutmeg or cinnamon.
6-8 tbsp porridge oats
- Preheat oven to 200C. Lightly grease a baking tray.
- In a bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Stir in the oats, a spoonful at a time. Either make into a round biscuit shape or use a cutter as a template.
- Cook in your preheated oven for 15 minutes, turning over half way through.
