More or less everyone I know is attending Slimming World (apart from myself!), so I thought I would try some recipes and I have been impressed. Recently I attempted to make a Slimming World cake and I found it too bitter so I developed this one which I much prefer. I worked it out as 1 syn per slice but please correct me if I’m wrong!
Serves 8 Costs 38p per slice
100g sugar substitute
50g cocoa power
2 tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 200 c. Seperate the egg whites and yolks. Mix the egg whites untill they form peaks.
- Mix the sugar substitute, cocoa powder, egg yolks and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Carefully fold in the eggs whites until well combined.
- Pour the mix into a greased cake tin and cook for 25 minutes.
