The Easiest Falafel Ever

As the title suggests, this is the easiest falafel you will ever make! Not only is it easy to make but it’s super healthy and they only cost 32p a serving. I served mine in pitta bread with salad and salsa. It just goes to show that vegan food can be delicious and nutritious!

Serves 2

Ingredients:

1 400g tin chickpeas, drained 

1 garlic clove, roughly chopped 

2 tbsp plain flour 

1 tsp coriander 

1 tsp turmeric 

1 tsp cumin 

  1. Put the chickpeas and garlic in a blender. Give it a quick pulse so that the chickpeas have broken up a little but not completely soft.
  2. In a bowl, combine chickpeas with the coriander, turmeric, cumin and flour. Mix together and then divide in four balls and then flatten each one into a buger.
  3. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until slightly browned.
