This is a great recipe to make with kids, plus my two love eating them as a snack! You can add extras such as herbs, sesame seeds or even different types of cheese. With the leftover dough I used a small cutter to make biscuits.
These cookies were made by my 3 year daughter. They only require 3 ingredients so as you would imagine, they are very cheap and easy to make. We put jam inbetween two of ours but you could cut them out in any shape, ice them or even add chocolate chips!
Porridge oats are amazing! They are ridiculously cheap (I brought a 500g bag for 20p), they are nutritious and give you loads of energy. The same goes for banana. Now, I’m a big biscuit lover and my daughter seems to of inherited this from me! I believe every thing should be eaten in moderation so the occasional jammie dodger is fine but the recipe for these biscuits is so healthy. I’m happy for her to eat these all in one go, which she does! You can add extras such as nuts, currents, honey, nutmeg or cinnamon.
