Flower Lunch Box Ideas

I have been posting pictures of my 3 year old daughter’s packed lunches on my Facebook page for quite a while but I have never put them on my blog so here is one!

When she first started nursery, she had their cooked meals but after a few weeks it came apparent that she wasn’t enjoying them. So she has been having packed lunches ever since!

I don’t have any fancy equipment, just a few cookie cutters, eye picks and plastic pots. All of the lunches take under 10 minute and just me a bit of creativity and imagination! I also try and make them cheap and keep waste to a minimum. They include stuff she likes (she changes her mind everyday!) and at least one thing she either hasn’t tried or isn’t that keen on.

This lunch was inspired by the biscuits she made the day before and insisted to have it for lunch at school to show all her friends.

  • Ham and cheese sandwich
  • Pepperoni
  • Kiwi fruit
  • Homemade jam biscuit

Proper Simple Sandwich

My husband comes home for his lunch so I have to make lunch for him and two toddlers so it is hard to make something quick but still delicious. We often have sandwiches and thanks to The English Provender Co, we got to try a few different pickles in them last week! It was hard trying to decide on our favourite but this one got the thumbs up from all the family.

Two Ingredient Flat Breads

These are great to have with so many different things. We have them to go with curry, for tuna melts, cut up and used for dipping in soups and sauces, and I even put them in packed lunches. The possibilities are endless!
